EP.1 AN UNSUPPORTED JOURNEY TO BECOMING AN OLYMPIAN | JEAN SPIES
Jean Spies has been a Rule 28 athlete since our infancy. A self-funded athlete hailing from Johannesburg now competing at the highest level of track cycling, Jean has represented his country on the world stage at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and Paris 2024. Despite a lack of funding from his national cycling body, Jean continues to realise his childhood dream of racing his bike all over the world. From invaluable training sessions with other national teams to sleeping under grandstands at international competitions, Jean’s pursuit of track cycling excellence is nothing if not unique. We are proud to support him.
EP.2 Road To Gravel | Ryan Christensen
After the UCI Pro Team he’d been riding for folded at the end of 2023, Ryan Christensen wasn’t prepared to let his pro cycling career slip through his fingers. The kiwi has thrown himself into privateer life, returning to pro racing with a handful of personal sponsors and an ambition to make a name for himself in the gravel scene. This season sees Ryan tackle a busy race calendar, darting between countries and chasing results on and off the tarmac.
EP.3 Dust and Determination | Danni Shrosbree
Danni Shrosbree had an unusual route into professional cycling, taking up the sport later than most after years of swimming, triathlon and latterly rowing. After a breakout performance at the 2023 edition of Unbound Gravel, she is now a marked rider in the gravel scene who is pushing more equal representation at the top end of the sport.
EP.4 Unorthodox Unbound | Dylan Johnson
Behind the scenes with @DylanJohnsonCycling on his way to 10th at Unbound Gravel 2024. Taking place over 200 miles of brutal Kansas gravel and the strongest field to date. See what went it into Dylan’s prep the day before the race as well as what the Elite Men’s race feels like up close.
